About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead all aspects of financial management for the Evolved SeaSparrow Missile program area
- Enable achievement of the Annual Operating Plan and long-term strategic goals
- Provide financial guidance and oversee program execution and business controls
- Lead financial execution across the Shipboard Missiles Critical Munitions Acceleration portfolio
- Support non-recurring development, long-term multi-year production, and internal capital/expense investment
- Partner with SM-3 and SM-6 programs to drive execution and provide actionable insights
- Interface with the Capacity Growth Office to implement and sustain execution best practices
- Support internal reporting requirements including Earned Value and GAAP Financial Model reporting
- Oversee cost-type and FFP contracts, second sourcing, and cost reduction initiatives
- Provide financial planning guidance and coordinate robust financial forecasts with SBM FP&A
- Manage and track company investments and program funding positions
- Coordinate S&OP alignment and staffing demand and supply forecasts
- Establish business cadence and develop execution dashboards
- Collaborate across Shipboard programs and finance, including SM-3 IIA, SM-3 IB, SM-6 IAU, SM-2 IIICU, SM-6 IU, and ESSM
- Build relationships and maintain regular communications with internal Raytheon programs
- Interact with Program Managers, Contracts, Requirements & Capabilities, Supply Chain, and other functions to align strategic, operating, and financial objectives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Math, Business or a related field or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 10 years’ experience
- Experience managing staff and leading business teams
- U.S. citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance
- Active and existing security clearance required after day 1
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proactive, creative, innovative, critical and strategic thinking
- Sound analytical, problem identification, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to influence others
- Ability to work in a team environment, lead teams to success, and develop talent
- Experience in program proposal strategy, negotiations, performance-based payment strategy, and price modeling for variance in quantity
- Experience with government contracting, DoD or aerospace
- Experience in Financial Planning and Analysis
- Broad understanding of GAAP, FAR, and CAS
- Onsite work from a designated Raytheon location is required
