About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide financial oversight and support for program cost and control, proposals and estimating, financial planning and analysis, and budgets and planning
  • Collaborate with program managers, contracts, engineering, supply chain, and other functional teams
  • Perform EVMS tasks and ensure compliance with required Estimates at Complete (EACs)
  • Use SAP, APEX, AO, or similar financial systems to manage program financials
  • Collect, analyze, and distribute information to support decision-making
  • Lead and mentor team members
  • Support development and execution of financial strategies
  • Communicate financial performance and risks to senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Support the NASAMS Finance Team and growing Foreign Military Sales portfolio
  • Deliver management analysis and recommendations supporting cost and schedule baselines and financial objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience or an advanced degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Experience in program controls and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
  • Experience with financial systems such as SAP, APEX, AO, or similar processes
  • Experience in financial planning and analysis concepts, systems, and processes
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1
  • Experience leading teams to successful outcomes in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to manage workload independently and prioritize effectively
  • Experience collecting, synthesizing, and presenting information for decision-making
  • Familiarity with DoD contract financing and billing processes
  • Certification in Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) or equivalent Project Management Institute (PMI) certification
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
