About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design engaging, user-centered learning experiences supporting business transformation and SAP S/4HANA rollout across the enterprise
  • Provide initial design and governance for accurate, engaging learning content aligned with program objectives
  • Design end-to-end user learning journeys blending virtual learning sessions, self-paced learning, and hands-on practice
  • Provide design oversight for virtual session materials, self-paced eLearning, simulations, WalkMe-enabled practice, and knowledge checks
  • Apply adult learning principles and learning experience design best practices
  • Ensure learning content is role-based and aligned with the Global Blueprint, with Business Unit-specific variations based on documented requirements
  • Review learning materials for accuracy, clarity, usability, and program alignment
  • Develop or refine learning content when additional capacity or specialized expertise is needed
  • Partner with the PST Learning Lead, content developers, Training Delivery Lead, WalkMe developers, change management professionals, and subject matter experts
  • Coordinate learning journeys and design activities with program milestones and deployment schedules
  • Ensure consistent design standards and quality across learning assets
  • Align in-application guidance and hands-on practice with formal learning content
  • Address change impacts, adoption risks, and Business Unit readiness needs
  • Gather requirements, validate content, and ensure business accuracy
  • Ensure consistent messaging across Learning and Change Management activities
  • Enforce governance, branding, accessibility, compliance, version control, and documentation standards
  • Track learning design milestones and report status, risks, and dependencies to the PST Learning Lead and program leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience, or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
  • Prior experience with instructional design or learning experience design
  • Experience providing design leadership or governance across multiple workstreams
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • Ability to work from one of the 50 U.S. states, excluding U.S. Territories
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%+
  • Preferred: experience leading learning design for large-scale ERP implementations, preferably SAP S/4HANA
  • Preferred: experience designing self-paced eLearning, virtual instructor-led learning, and hands-on practice experiences, including simulations and knowledge checks
  • Preferred: experience with digital adoption platforms such as WalkMe or SAP Enable Now
  • Preferred: knowledge of adult learning principles, learning experience design methodologies, and performance-based learning approaches
  • Preferred: proficiency with eLearning and multimedia authoring tools such as Articulate 360 and Adobe Captivate
  • Preferred: experience working with matrixed or distributed teams, including third-party, offshore, and Business Unit content developers
