About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the technical baseline across multiple aerospace power-electronics products, including inverters, converters, electronic starters, and related devices
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for customers and translate requirements and feedback into product priorities
  • Own and prioritize product activities aligned with overall program objectives
  • Coordinate engineering and cross-functional teams toward successful product delivery
  • Drive on-time, high-quality delivery while addressing impacts to performance, cost, schedule, and quality
  • Evaluate customer requests and feedback and determine feasibility, impact, and the appropriate path forward
  • Support customer proposals and product deliveries while balancing technical requirements, resources, cost, and schedule
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve product value and project profitability
  • Collaborate with customers, engineering, program leadership, and internal stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain the product roadmap, delivery schedules, milestones, future capabilities, and technology-development paths
  • Maintain alignment around program budget, schedule, technical, and quality targets
  • Anticipate technical risks and competing priorities and support informed decision-making

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience, unless prohibited by local laws/regulations; or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Experience with power electronics products
  • Knowledge of applicable MIL-STD specifications
  • Experience providing technical and/or design leadership for complex, large-scale systems, or a related industry certification
  • Experience supporting DoD or similar major programs throughout the product lifecycle
  • Experience with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15 proposal activities
  • Experience making data-driven decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience interfacing with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Experience leading technical solutions for complex user requirements
  • Strong communication, technical writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills
