About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the P&C Mil Spares EPS aftermarket business
  • Generate, interpret, and manage complex proposals and contracts in compliance with internal processes and external customer requirements
  • Ensure adherence to government contracting regulations, including FAR and DFAR requirements
  • Assess, interpret, and review contractual documents for compliance with government procurement guidelines and cost control measures
  • Advise and represent the contracts organization on contractual requirements
  • Collaborate with internal functional teams to support contract negotiations and execute agreements efficiently
  • Prepare reports for internal reviews and external customer communication
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to align on contractual obligations and requirements
  • Develop and maintain contractual relationships with internal and external customers
  • Manage the interface between Collins Aerospace and external customers to resolve contractual matters
  • Oversee encumbered outstanding accounts receivable issues
  • Lead small projects and process improvement initiatives, including CORE initiatives
  • Report directly to the P&C AM Senior Contracts Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
  • Experience with government contracting, including FAR 12 and FAR 15 regulations and commercial item contracting
  • Experience with contract formation, including NDAs, MOUs, and MOAs
  • Experience with proposal compliance reviews, terms and conditions review, and contract negotiations
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Experience working in the aerospace industry or directly for Collins Aerospace
  • Previous experience in contracts, supply chain, or procurement
  • Experience with SAP software
  • Knowledge and application of government contracting activities
  • Experience managing contracts and proposals in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and set daily goals effectively
