About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Propose, negotiate, and execute contracts of moderate to high complexity
- Review contractual documents, terms and conditions, and lead contract flow-down processes
- Perform contract administration tasks
- Summarize contractual issues and research compliance matters
- Interpret regulations, identify risks, advise on intellectual property concerns, and formulate and present recommendations
- Draft formal correspondence addressing contractual matters and aiding dispute resolution
- Support special projects and process improvement events
- Support audits and customer requests
- Lead, prepare, and present review packages to senior leadership and customers
- Adhere to standard work processes
- Respond to customer inquiries
- Participate in internal and external customer meetings and reviews
- Manage complex contracts and recommend legal strategy in support of business interests
- Communicate and influence senior functional leaders on significant matters
Requirements
What you’ll need- University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- Experience in contracts
- Government contracting experience
- FAR 15 and FAR 12 experience
- Commercial Item Determination experience
