About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the RTX Corporate Supply Chain organization across product and non-product sourcing, supply chain risk management, performance, analytics, tools, and strategic initiatives
- Contribute to processes across a matrixed RTX Corporate Supply Chain organization
- Conduct operational and spend analysis
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies
- Participate in supplier negotiations
- Support supplier performance management
- Contribute to business process management initiatives
- Work part-time from November to May while fulfilling internship responsibilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Operations, or a closely related field and actively enrolled through the duration of the internship
- Minimum 60 credits completed before starting the internship
- Experience with SharePoint, including creating sites, maintaining sites, and controlling permissions
- Advanced Excel knowledge and data analytics skills
- Ability to create Power BI dashboards
- Experience building apps with Microsoft Power Platform
- U.S. citizenship required
- Preferred: minimum 3.2 cumulative GPA
- Preferred: project management experience and ability to deliver measurable results independently
- Preferred: experience collaborating with coworkers from diverse communities and cultures
- Preferred: foundational knowledge of supply chain principles
- Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects
