About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for one or more Power BI data products
  • Align data products with business objectives and identify opportunities to create value and improve decision-making
  • Support internal customers and advance the digital product portfolio
  • Gather, prioritize, and refine stakeholder requirements into actionable user stories
  • Partner with development teams to deliver features and enhancements on time and with high quality
  • Liaise between business units, technical teams, and vendors
  • Monitor product performance, user adoption, and feedback to drive continuous improvement
  • Create and maintain product documentation, standard work, training materials, and data governance information
  • Collaborate with MS Dynamics and database management teams to deliver product objectives
  • Drive iterative improvements using Scrum and Agile methodologies
  • Maintain Jira and Confluence tools to monitor execution and support program tracking
  • Analyze data to improve performance, communication, and program performance
  • Coordinate cross-team dependencies and align system-level activities
  • Define change impacts and develop change-management plans with the business and change-management lead
  • Stay current on Power BI, Fabric, data, and analytics trends and best practices
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Commercial Engines and potentially own multiple products

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field and 8 years of experience; or an Advanced Degree and 5 years of experience
  • Experience in Product Ownership of a digital application, preferably related to data analytics and visualization
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for tracking project progress and managing backlog
  • Experience working with or managing data visualizations
  • Ability to lead requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders and end users
  • Ability to write effective user stories for developers
  • Proficiency in analyzing user data, market research, and performance metrics
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Qualifications preferred: experience with MS Dynamics and/or Power BI/Fabric
  • Qualifications preferred: coding skills in SQL and DAX
  • Qualifications preferred: SAFe or Agile certifications
  • Qualifications preferred: familiarity with Agile roles
  • Qualifications preferred: knowledge of UI/UX design principles and Figma
