About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee activation activities for new Line Replaceable Units (LRU) components, repairs, and service limits at F135 Controls and Accessories Repair locations
- Develop and execute repair activation plans through closure
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders to ensure Repair Center capability meets customer needs
- Work with Ground Support Equipment, Service Engineering, Oklahoma City Supplier Management, and Contracts teams
- Assess and mitigate the impact of design and process changes on Repair Center operations
- Identify and evaluate future LRU candidates for depot activation
- Manage repair activation project budgets, sales commitments, resources, and milestones
- Support proposal development and contract negotiations for future repairs
- Identify and manage risks and opportunities affecting the sales plan and activation project execution
- Stay current on engineering activities related to F135 Controls and Accessories designs and processes
- Ensure customer expectations and supportability goals for Collins C&A components are met
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
- U.S. citizenship required
- Program or product management experience
- Engineering or Operations project management of multiple complex projects with competing priorities
- Military Program Earned Value Management (EVMS) experience preferred
- Customer-facing experience, particularly with the U.S. government, preferred
- Manufacturing and/or repair/field operations process experience preferred
- Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing techniques and technical requirements preferred
- Experience in operations and production flow management, including supply chain oversight, preferred
- Willingness to travel up to 10%
