Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support system design integration and requirement management activities
  • Attend and participate in group meetings, teleconferences and/or training
  • Make minor changes or enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems or improve work-area effectiveness
  • Support project management activities
  • Support other duties/functions within the company as required by business needs
  • Integrate components, modules, and subsystems into commercial and military propulsion systems
  • Develop systems solutions to meet customer requirements and drive engineering quality and productivity

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical, Computer or Software Engineering
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English
  • Must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment
  • Relocation is not offered
  • Analytical and mathematical modeling skills
  • Ability to work at an implementation level
  • Preferred: Basic understanding of gas turbine engines
  • Preferred: Knowledge in Python or other coding languages
  • Preferred: Passion for learning about and pursuing a career in aviation and aerospace
  • Preferred: Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability
  • Preferred: Eagerness to learn, contribute a fresh perspective, and share knowledge
