About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive improvements across the global test network by analyzing DAT Test Yield trends and identifying root causes
  • Partner with test sites to elevate performance
  • Support OEM/MRO test councils
  • Collaborate on network-wide investigations
  • Lead efforts with the Vibe IPT to resolve vibration-related issues
  • Maintain and develop test standard work
  • Coordinate test cell tooling and correlation needs
  • Support established and new MRO Disassembly/Assembly/Test (DAT) facilities
  • Support and investigate network-wide Root Cause and Corrective Actions for First Pass Yield and ACAB opportunities
  • Identify and implement process and quality improvements with DAT teams and internal stakeholders
  • Support FPY reporting, Vibration IPT, Test Council activities, and test cell shakedown, correlation, and re-correlation efforts
  • Provide technical support for test processes and ensure compliance with standards and best practices
  • Travel internationally and domestically as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Advanced Degree and 3+ years of experience in Engineering, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Operations, Military, Aftermarket or Aviation industry; OR Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant industry experience; OR Associate's degree and 7+ years of relevant industry experience; OR High School diploma or Military / Technical Training (A&P Certification) and 9+ years of hands-on relevant industry experience
  • 2+ years of Engine Test or Engine Overhaul experience
  • U.S. Person status required
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate (A&P license) preferred
  • Familiarity with aerospace gas turbine engines, engine overhaul and repair (MRO), ideally within Engine Test
  • Knowledge of FAA Part 145, EASA, AS9110, and other relevant regulatory frameworks
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools (CORE/ACE/Six Sigma, QCPC and RCCA)
  • Working knowledge of Pratt & Whitney shop practices, quality standards, inspections methods and tools
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SAP ERP, Solumina MES, CAD programs, and Teamcenter
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with management, shop personnel and customers
  • International/domestic travel as required
  • Security clearance not required
