About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead project planning and execution, including developing and managing Integrated Master Schedules, detailed program plans, and key project milestones
  • Manage program budgets and performance through the Collins Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
  • Coordinate Systems Integration activities across development, qualification, and documentation
  • Drive change and risk management by identifying challenges, developing mitigation strategies, and implementing recovery plans
  • Lead program status meetings with technical leads and project teams
  • Collaborate across functional organizations to resolve complex issues and keep projects moving forward
  • Engage internal and external stakeholders to communicate program status, manage expectations, and support customer satisfaction
  • Apply problem-solving and communication skills to address technical and programmatic challenges and drive successful project completion

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, unless prohibited by local laws/regulations
  • Advanced Degree in a related field as an alternative
  • In absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • Experience developing and managing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using Microsoft Project
  • Experience supporting Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) to monitor program budgets, costs, and schedule performance
  • Experience applying Change Management and Risk Management tools, processes, and best practices
  • Ability to collaborate with technical leads, cross-functional stakeholders, customers, and external partners
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
