About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and improvements for engineering applications
Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance applications using C#, Angular, Spring Boot, Java, and SQL
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment
Adhere to SAFe Agile principles and practices
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code meeting best practices and coding standards
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
Provide timely and effective solutions
Conduct demonstrations of successful work-product implementation
Continuously improve existing systems and processes to enhance performance, reliability, and scalability

Requirements

What you’ll need

U.S. citizenship is required
University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field
Experience in full stack development using C#, Angular, Spring Boot, Java, and/or SQL
Experience with SAFe Agile principles and practices
Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
Experience with version control systems such as Git
Experience managing work in Jira
Experience in the aerospace or defense industry preferred
Understanding of software design patterns, architecture, and best practices preferred
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud platforms preferred
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment preferred
