About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and coach employees to develop a motivated and effective team
Address performance issues proactively
Drive process improvement opportunities using Lean strategies
Implement root-cause corrective actions
Manage and track the operational schedule for quality functions
Ensure product quality and execute contingency plans as necessary
Modify, apply, and maintain quality evaluation and control systems and protocols
Evaluate technical data and work instructions for Engineering and Operations teams
Conduct investigations and analyze findings
Develop recommendations for corrective actions addressing nonconformities
Develop and implement proactive quality initiative strategies
Promote a quality-focused culture through adherence to the Quality Management System (QMS) and Quality Cardinal Rules

Requirements

What you’ll need

U.S. citizenship is required
Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience, or a minimum of 7 years of experience with an advanced degree
Root Cause and Corrective Action experience
Experience with AS9100/AS9110 standards
Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings
Proficiency in Solumina G8 or equivalent Engine Maintenance Systems preferred
Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis using Excel preferred
Experience driving PPAP core elements, including PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow, and Control Plans preferred
Background in Continuous Improvement, Lean, and Six-Sigma methodologies preferred
Experience communicating effectively with all levels of leadership, both in written and verbal formats preferred
Ability to work onsite full time in Columbus, GA
