About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and deliver new DevSecOps, MBSE, DEE, and ODC capabilities
- Sustain existing capabilities by creating upgrade packages and improving automation
- Provide support for unclassified and classified environments
- Provide technical input on future strategies and roadmaps
- Assist with maintaining the approved container catalog
- Work with Raytheon Engineering and the Platform Services team
- Report to the Platform Services Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and less than 2 years of relevant experience or a total of 4 years relevant technical experience in IT or Digital Technology
- Experience with common software development tools/technologies, such as Git and VSCode
- Experience with a programming language, such as Java, C++, or Python
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Active and existing DoD Secret security clearance required after day 1
- Experience working in automated environments preferred
- Experience with Python preferred
- Experience with containers preferred
- Strong communication skills and experience working directly with end users and customers preferred
- Ability to work regularly both onsite and offsite in a hybrid role
- Ability to commute to and from the assigned site at the employee’s personal responsibility
- May require travel to other Raytheon domestic U.S. locations
