About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Business Manager with business and financial responsibilities
  • Participate in program start-up activities
  • Partner directly with a prime Government customer
  • Support and generate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual work products
  • Perform Earned Value reporting
  • Support baseline planning and development
  • Prepare Estimates at Completion (EACs)
  • Develop risks and opportunities
  • Perform financial forecasting
  • Support the Short Range Outlook (SRO)
  • Support the Annual Operation Plan (AOP)
  • Support five-year strategic planning
  • Support customer meetings and internal executive-level meetings
  • Work as an individual contributor without employee management responsibilities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field
  • Experience consolidating and analyzing financial data sets
  • Ability to effectively communicate financial information internally and externally to the program area
  • Ability to partner with functional leads and program managers, offer solutions, and make quick informed business decisions
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, creative, innovative, critical, and strategic thinking
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize program management systems and tools
  • Ability to independently create and accurately analyze financial data
  • Financial experience in the aerospace/defense industry
  • Prior program experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
  • EVMS certification or equivalent Project Management Institute (PMI) certification
  • Prior program experience with Estimates at Completion (EAC), including cost, variance, risk, and opportunity analysis
  • Proficiency using SAP, APEX, PRISM, MRP, RPLAN, and BW
  • Self-starter with a highly motivated, positive “can do” attitude
  • U.S. citizenship required; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • Must reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states, excluding U.S. territories
