About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide consistent interpretation of ITAR and EAR to Business Unit employees
  • Provide Global Trade guidance to Raytheon international entities on U.S. trade laws and RTX/Raytheon program requirements
  • Complete in-person and virtual assessments of Global Trade program requirements
  • Coordinate with GT Program Office and Global Implementation & Operations teams to create assessment protocols
  • Identify and report compliance concerns, errors, and areas requiring improvement
  • Implement corrective actions and assess whether issues are systemic across entities
  • Support investigations, audits, and compliance matters
  • Apply international trade regulations to support international business programs
  • Coordinate integration of international entity trade team members with applicable teams
  • Develop and deliver training for employees involved in international business activities
  • Serve as a resource for export/import licensing personnel
  • Use investigative skills to adapt questions and assessment protocols to verify compliance
  • Travel to Raytheon international entity locations as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University Degree and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Experience and application of US GT regulations, including ITAR, EAR, and Customs
  • Experience drafting, submitting, implementing, and managing agreements, licenses, General Correspondences, Third Party Transfers, complex export strategies, and/or similar requests
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Ability to travel to Raytheon International Entity locations
  • Security clearance is not required
