About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the sourcing and acquisition of materials and services
Manage supplier performance and the entire purchase order life cycle, including supplier development, requirement solicitations, purchase order award, post-award management, and closeout activities
Support DoD, FMS, and DCS customers within the procurement team
Manage supplier relationships supporting factory material needs
Prepare and issue RFPs
Place medium-complexity purchase orders in accordance with FAR/DFAR and corporate compliance requirements
Support negotiation strategies and formal negotiations covering price, delivery, scope, and terms and conditions
Perform price and cost analysis for proposals
Maintain professional business relationships with first-tier subcontractors
Collaborate with Program, Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Program Management teams
Maintain purchase orders to ensure accurate and timely supplier delivery information

Requirements

What you’ll need

A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
Relevant experience in procurement, supply chain management, management, finance, or similar role
U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required
SAP/PRISM based environment experience preferred
Experience with technical requirements of procured hardware and services, including Statement of Work (SOW) review preferred
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) preferred
Experience in written contractual authorization/vehicles (Cost Plus, Firm Fixed Price etc.) preferred
