About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the supplier management process by developing and executing strategies to mitigate risk, drive supplier performance, and optimize material flow across the program lifecycle
  • Liaise between customers, program management, and suppliers to ensure material contract objectives for technical performance, cost, and schedule are met
  • Manage supplier performance and resolve supply chain issues
  • Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS, ITAR, offset requirements, public law, quality standards, and warranty obligations
  • Evaluate and refine Make/Buy and Make Where strategies
  • Develop material program strategies and oversee financial management of material requirements
  • Partner with Program Managers and cross-functional leaders to execute AOP, OTD delivery, and material coverage
  • Develop, coordinate, and execute program material strategies, plans, and supplier risk mitigation activities
  • Establish and drive material sales forecasting for assigned programs and product lines
  • Drive FEOTB activities related to MRP planning, material releases, EAC reporting, and related execution
  • Work with Program, Factory, and Supply Base teams to establish material coverage for MRP and sustainment needs
  • Establish manufacturing plans with Program Operations Managers and program teams to manage risks and opportunities
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Mission Assurance, and Supply Chain organizations to drive supplier performance, execution, and product yield
  • Prepare and present information for weekly and monthly management reviews
  • Support proposals through BOE generation, material pricing inputs, and RFQ planning and execution
  • Work with Procurement to manage CAPA closure for TINA requirements
  • Document execution insights, capture lessons learned, and contribute to repeatable process improvements
  • Lead cross-functional teams and stakeholder meetings, facilitate decisions, align priorities, and drive execution without direct reporting authority

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • Active and existing DoD Top Secret security clearance required after day 1
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience in a supply chain role, or an advanced degree and 5 years prior relevant experience in a supply chain role
  • Prior experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Experience with SAP/PRISM and the Supply Chain suite of tools preferred
  • Experience with government regulations including FAR/DFARS, ITAR/EAR, and TINA preferred
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes across the product life cycle preferred
  • Certified Material Program Manager, program management certification, or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in supplier management preferred
