About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Identify product, people and process risks and escalate through the defined process
Raise technical information and manage associated risk resolution through the end-to-end engineering process
Perform design, analysis, implementation, testing and lifecycle support of mechanical components, systems and sub-systems
Prepare, review, release and maintain engineering documentation
Plan, analyse and report on maintenance tasks
Gather test data and analyse and present results
Conduct root cause failure analysis and remediation
Manage contractors on site and review their work
Scope technical work packages
Manage spares and obsolescence
Support operation and maintenance of SST, C-Band Radar System and DARC space programs
