About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead systems engineering activities for a large Patriot program and Ukraine Missile Cross Product Team
- Define and maintain system architecture and technical baseline
- Develop and maintain system requirements
- Develop and maintain software requirements
- Scope and provide modeling and simulation products
- Lead development and reporting of proposal costing efforts for a Patriot partner country
- Manage cost, schedule and execution for a Patriot partner country
- Brief Program Management and U.S. government customers on plans and status
- Support Raytheon Lifecycle Product Management design milestone activities
- Support externally facing customer events
- Provide proposal support and monthly Earned Value Management Systems accountability
- Travel as required to meet programmatic objectives
- Collaborate with engineering disciplines, Quality, Reliability, and program management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience managing cost, schedule and execution for technical projects
- Experience leading or contributing to proposals, including creating BOEs and contributing to leadership proposal reviews
- Active and transferable Secret U.S. government-issued security clearance required prior to start date
- U.S. citizenship required
- Earned Value Certification preferred
- Program Manager Certification level six, or ability to obtain within the first year in the role, preferred
- Ability to travel, including occasional domestic and potential international travel
