About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead a team of intermediate to experienced Field Service professionals
  • Coordinate, prioritize, and resolve issues encountered by experienced teams
  • Review escalated business-impacting issues and recommend solutions
  • Manage an experienced team according to established programs and objectives
  • Contact customers, collect feedback, and maintain relationships with key customers
  • Respond to high-profile customer complaints and establish improvement plans
  • Coach team members to achieve operational goals
  • Maintain training and audit/assessment programs and ensure internal control effectiveness
  • Serve as technical team leader and systems administration subject matter expert for customer support requirements
  • Perform image quality analysis, data flow management, troubleshooting, and corrective actions
  • Monitor equipment health and status
  • Execute system administration functions as first responder to product-line issues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience solving technical problems with product and systems expertise
  • Ability to perform rapid, accurate assessments and deliver actionable, technically sound solutions to customers
  • Experience in system administration, monitoring and troubleshooting system data flows within a complex distributed environment
  • Experience in ISR sensor planning and/or collection management
  • Experience with Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS) and/or national-level intelligence agency
  • Either possess or can quickly obtain a CompTIA Security+ certification within 6 months
  • Active and transferable TS/SCI U.S. government-issued security clearance required prior to start date
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills preferred
  • Integrity, reliability, and dedication in a team environment preferred
  • Experience creating/maintaining user accounts, monitoring system utilization, installing applications and operating system upgrades, and installing/troubleshooting software desired
  • Scripting experience in UNIX/Linux environments desired
  • Windows server support experience desired
  • Knowledge of virtual machine-based architectures desired
  • Imagery analysis skills in an intelligence environment beneficial
  • Knowledge of exploitation tools and techniques beneficial
  • Creation of products from system image data beneficial
  • Willingness to meet deployment requirements, including physical examinations, immunizations, security certifications, and designated trainings
  • Flexibility for relocations, multi-shift work, and overtime with little or no notice
  • Compliance with laws and rules in deployment jurisdictions
