About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain supplier quality certifications and compliance waivers
  • Update ERP systems with supplier quality management system certification expiration dates
  • Update supplier or part number quality information records
  • Collaborate with the Global Supplier Quality Compliance team
  • Prioritize supplier assessments and updates for Mission Systems
  • Review procedure updates and new releases to create compliance gap matrices identifying risks and noncompliance
  • Support site Quality teams by documenting supplier nonconformances
  • Assist with monthly metrics, customer presentations, and process improvements
  • Track and analyze process turnbacks and identify high-impact improvement items
  • Lead or support product skip lot activities to reduce incoming inspection backlogs
  • Submit escalation requests or workflows for urgent quality needs
  • Learn aerospace and U.S. Government Quality Requirements
  • Track and maintain ASL compliance across the supply chain

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Actively pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, or Technology
  • Must remain enrolled through completion of the internship session
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (preferred)
  • Understanding of Quality Management Systems and Continuous Improvement (preferred)
  • Experience managing projects, schedules, deliverables, or budgets (preferred)
