About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide tactical MRO&U operations support by coordinating timely solutions with functional groups
  • Host daily network escalation calls to ensure awareness and prioritization of global needs
  • Prepare documentation and communicate status to internal customers, stakeholders and executive-level leadership
  • Represent sustainment operations in developing a “one system and process” for MRO&U network reporting
  • Interface with and monitor third-party MRO Product Service Providers
  • Identify and resolve process gaps and systematic issues critical to supporting deliveries
  • Develop and establish strategies to support growth, maturity and expansion of the F135 sustainment network
  • Travel domestically and internationally occasionally, approximately 10%, as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Logistics, Management or equivalent with 10+ years prior relevant experience; OR advanced degree in Engineering, Operations Management or Business with 7+ years of relevant experience
  • 7+ years of experience in program management, operations, supply chain and/or materials
  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • Organizational skills with the ability to multi-task amidst a rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to collaboratively work with cross-functional teams
  • Experience presenting across the organization, including senior and executive leadership
  • Ability to identify root causes, secure relevant information and identify sustainable solutions
  • Strong critical thinking skills to evaluate action plans when information is incomplete or missing
  • Experience leveraging data trends and visualization to assess network performance, identify constraints, and anticipate emerging issues
