About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead license server operations, entitlement workflows, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management
  • Coordinate with engineering tool owners, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to define requirements, resolve issues, and support roadmap planning
  • Optimize Windows Server and RHEL-based licensing environments through configuration management, monitoring, and root-cause analysis
  • Oversee onboarding, usage analytics, forecasting, compliance validation, audit readiness, and end-to-end licensing governance
  • Drive modernization initiatives involving automation, reporting improvements, technology updates, and documentation standards
  • Build and maintain operational dashboards using Power BI, Python, or PowerApps
  • Maintain workflow, documentation, and change-tracking standards using Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint
  • Support transition and migration initiatives, license-related audits, and domain-aligned compliance efforts
  • Manage hardware used for dongle-based licensing and lead legacy-system decommissioning
  • Provide direction, workload management, team collaboration, and continuous improvement support

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • Experience administering Windows Server and RHEL environments
  • Demonstrated leadership experience overseeing technical operations or service-delivery teams
  • Experience managing engineering license servers or enterprise licensing systems
  • Scripting/automation skills using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • Experience supporting enterprise engineering software ecosystems or large-scale licensing environments
  • Experience automating licensing workflows or integrating licensing systems with cloud platforms
  • Experience applying Agile or Scrum practices, including work management in Jira, Confluence, or Jira Align
  • Experience conducting usage forecasting, capacity planning, or financial analysis
  • Familiarity with dongle-based licensing hardware, such as AnywhereUSB, or regulated engineering environments
