About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the CTES CH-47F Chinook Platform Systems team
  • Participate in avionics engineering tasks associated with the design, development, integration, and testing of platform and software applications
  • Learn and effectively use requirements capture, peer review, configuration management, and Agile development tools
  • Execute requirements-based testing, robustness testing, and ad-hoc testing onsite in a lab environment
  • Support requirements capture
  • Assist in decomposing customer specifications and system-level requirements into subsystem requirements
  • Support cross-functional team development with customer stakeholders and domain engineers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and less than 2 years prior relevant experience
  • Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written)
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Familiarity with Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) concepts
  • Basic experience with DOORS, JAMA, JIRA, and ALM tool suite
  • Basic experience working within an aerospace related engineering development environment
  • Basic experience or knowledge of engineering/technology requirements capture and configuration management tools
  • Basic experience or an educational background covering requirements capture & definition, integration, verification & validation testing
  • Experience with DevSecOps tools such as Robot and Jenkins
