About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute day-to-day development activities for the FOMAX 7 program
  • Serve as the technical interface to the Project Chief Engineer and engineering teams
  • Ensure engineering accountability for meeting technical requirements and program scope
  • Maintain and manage the program schedule
  • Ensure compliance with established engineering processes
  • Act as a liaison between the Project Chief Engineer and engineering teams
  • Assist in tracking Earned Value, financial management, and schedule maintenance for engineering activities
  • Manage risk and opportunity for related engineering activities
  • Lead and support the program as needed, including tasks outside the defined scope

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years of relevant experience, OR an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without company immigration sponsorship now or in the future
  • Experience in project development within systems, software, or hardware engineering disciplines
  • Experience managing projects, including planning and tracking project status, creating and managing schedules, cost plans, reporting to leadership, and interfacing with manufacturing teams
  • Knowledge of RLPM (Resource Leveling Project Management) preferred
  • Aerospace industry experience highly preferred
  • Awareness of DO-254, DO-178C, and ARP4754A standards
  • Experience leading engineering teams preferred
