About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support contingent labor strategies using project management principles, CORE, and the gated review process
- Define project scope, goals, schedules, statements of work, and budgets for project implementation
- Assist in implementing the Contingent Labor Request System (CLRS)
- Manage commodity/account management and sourcing strategies
- Implement supply chain strategies and supplier selection processes meeting total cost of ownership, price, quality, timing, and reliability standards
- Define and share sourcing strategies, best practices, and acceptable service levels
- Develop strategic plans for commodities or strategic suppliers
- Manage relationships with one or more strategic accounts across commodities
- Support and lead supplier negotiations, including team formation, objective setting, strategy, execution, approvals, and final agreements
- Perform duties supporting departmental goals and operational efficiency
- Apply RTX strategic sourcing strategies, cost savings initiatives, GRME, and the Contingent Labor Sourcing Tool (Fieldglass)
Requirements
What you’ll need- University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
- Experience in strategic sourcing process
- Experience in implementation, negotiations, collaboration with internal leadership, and execution
- Experience in contract management and negotiations
- Experience in supplier relationship development and management
- Experience in spend data analytics
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without company immigration sponsorship now or in the future
- Security clearance not required
- Willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time domestically
- Contingent labor and professional services commodity experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills preferred
- Strong collaboration and negotiation skills preferred
- Ability to handle conflict management and problem resolutions preferred
- Ability to set priorities and manage time preferred
