About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform detailed financial analysis to define and understand monthly variances to budget and the EAC position
  • Perform quarterly estimates at completion and monthly latest revised estimates
  • Use metrics and tools to support successful program execution
  • Prepare Earned Value reporting of cost/schedule and financial analysis using standard company tools and processes
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly variance and data analysis
  • Update financial reports and presentations for program leadership
  • Develop and support Quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) and monthly Latest Revised Estimate (LRE)
  • Process approved Budget Change Requests (BCR) and incorporate changes into control systems
  • Support FP&A monthly cadence as needed
  • Interact with management at a variety of levels and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management or a related field and a minimum of 5 years related work experience; OR an advanced degree and a minimum of 3 years related work experience
  • Experience with data analysis, reporting and/or process improvement
  • Experience with finance tools, including program cost controls, scheduling, tracking, and/or forecasting
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Experience with Earned Value and Estimates at Completion (EACs) preferred
  • Experience with Raytheon financial tools/systems: APEX and PMX Tool Suite preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel, pivot tables, and advanced formulas preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate information concisely to a cross-functional team
  • Independent, self-motivated, innovative, strategic thinker and highly organized
  • Ability to tell a simple story based on large data sets
