About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborate with leaders in the Program Office, Engineering, Supply Chain, and IPT Leads
  • Support cost control management, EVMS compliance, financial forecasting, and overall financial execution
  • Implement and maintain Earned Value Management
  • Provide monthly variance and data analysis
  • Develop and support Quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) and monthly Latest Revised Estimate (LRE)
  • Establish and maintain program logs (MR, UB, BCRs, etc.)
  • Provide financial guidance to Program Managers, IPT leads, and Cost Account Managers (CAMs)
  • Provide cost, schedule, financial analysis/reporting, funding planning, maintenance, and reporting using standard company tools and processes
  • Review financial reports, presentations, and proposals for accuracy and completeness
  • Provide program planning and control guidance
  • Summarize, package, and present information to all levels of management
  • Execute hands-on work with the finance team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience; OR an advanced degree and a minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience
  • Experience with SAP or a similar cost accounting system
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and/or PowerPoint)
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • Ability to work under deadlines and constraints
  • Ability to multitask across a variety of tasks
  • Analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with program controls, program scheduling, cash management, and financial planning and reporting
  • Experience working in a government contracting environment with knowledge of contracts governed by both FAR and DFARS
  • Proposal development experience
  • Experience with Earned Value Management
