About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the proposal lifecycle, including kickoff meetings, RFP reviews, outline development, requirements allocation, and author assignments
  • Manage proposal schedules, milestones, and resources
  • Coordinate and oversee content reviews for compliance, consistency, and alignment with win strategies
  • Edit and format proposal documents for clarity, cohesion, and professional presentation
  • Facilitate Pink, Red, and Gold Team milestone reviews
  • Collaborate with Capture Team Leaders and subject matter experts to refine proposal themes and strategies
  • Support post-submission clarification questions, oral presentation preparation, and after-action reviews
  • Ensure continuity across proposal deliverables while incorporating win strategies and addressing customer requirements
  • Use Microsoft Office and proposal management software to produce high-quality deliverables

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
  • Experience managing proposal development processes, including planning, execution, and post-submission phases
  • 3+ years of experience in proposal management or a similar capacity
  • Microsoft Office experience required, including advanced Word and Excel skills for document formatting and publishing
  • Experience editing and formatting complex proposal documents for compliance and professional presentation
  • U.S. citizenship required; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • APMP certification or formal Shipley & Associates training preferred
  • Experience in technical and persuasive writing, editing, and publishing preferred
  • Familiarity with Salesforce preferred
  • Experience using AI tools for content development, including prompt creation and refinement preferred
  • Background in the aviation industry preferred
  • Proficiency in Qvidian and VisibleThread preferred
