About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead system engineering activities for a large Patriot program
  • Manage cost, schedule, and execution for a Patriot partner country
  • Define and maintain system architecture and the technical baseline
  • Develop and maintain system requirements
  • Develop and maintain software requirements
  • Scope and provide modeling and simulation products
  • Lead development and reporting of proposal costing efforts
  • Brief Program Management and U.S. government customers on plans and status
  • Support Raytheon Lifecycle Product Management design milestone activities
  • Support externally facing customer events
  • Provide proposal support and Earned Value Management Systems monthly accountability
  • Travel as required to meet programmatic objectives
  • Collaborate with engineering disciplines, Quality, Reliability, and program management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience managing cost, schedule, and execution for technical projects
  • Experience leading or contributing to proposals, including creating BOEs and contributing to leadership proposal reviews
  • Active and transferable Secret U.S. government-issued security clearance required prior to start date
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Current security clearance required on day 1
  • Earned Value Certification preferred
  • Program Manager Certification level six preferred, or ability to obtain within the first year in the role
  • Ability to travel as required, including regular travel between Raytheon locations in Massachusetts and occasional domestic and potential international travel
