About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform analysis, architecture, and design across all levels of total system products, including concept, design, fabrication, modeling, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal
  • Perform functional analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies
  • Translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
  • Decompose customer specifications and system-level requirements into subsystem and piece-part requirements
  • Develop verification criteria and plans for requirements
  • Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, supportability, and effectiveness analyses for total system solutions
  • Support bid and proposal efforts
  • Interface with multidisciplinary engineering teams to create complete system solutions
  • Design and develop secure military communication products
  • Travel up to 10%

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
  • Active and existing Secret U.S. government-issued security clearance required prior to start date
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Experience with the systems development process, including requirements capture, design, decomposition, integration, verification/validation, and transition to production
  • Familiarity with the Scaled Agile framework preferred
  • Exceptionally strong communication skills and experience presenting technical data to program management and executive leadership preferred
  • Experience with cryptographic hardware architecture/design, network encryption specifications, and test methodologies preferred
  • Experience with DOORS, CAMEO or similar tools, and Rust and Python preferred
  • Experience with hardware and software integration, validation and verification testing, and qualification testing preferred
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%
