About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring timely delivery and quality of products
- Manage and report subcontractor and vendor costs, schedules, and technical performance baselines
- Ensure subcontractor and vendor work comes together technically for each delivery
- Support technical interchange meetings with team members and other program personnel
- Provide status on assigned Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) tasks as required
- Conduct document reviews and resolve technical systems engineering and integration issues
- Develop subcontractor and vendor Statements of Work (SOWs)
- Support Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) efforts as required
- Support various proposal efforts
- Support a premier Space Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (SISR) program at Raytheon/RTX
Requirements
What you’ll need- Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience managing or working with subcontractors and vendors, including experience in a technical leadership role
- Experience with the systems engineering development lifecycle and change management processes
- Experience working with a program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) or similar
- Experience developing Statements of Work (SOWs) and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs)
- Active and transferable DoD TS/SCI U.S. government-issued security clearance required prior to start date
- Ability to obtain Special Program Access
- U.S. citizenship required
- Experience in systems engineering functions including Concept of Operations (ConOps) development, system and product design, requirements management, technical risk management, and interface definition and control
- Systems engineering experience supporting a large government software development contract and experience with complex satellite ground systems
- Experience with earned value management systems (EVMS)
- Experience working in an Agile development environment with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket
- Experience as a Product Owner or Scrum Master and/or experience with requirements management using DOORS or other requirements databases
- Strong oral and written communication skills, collaboration skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment
