About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and drive process improvement initiatives across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Program sustainment portfolio
Improve readiness and long-term sustainment effectiveness for the Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces
Establish improvement cadences and set priorities for CORE events
Track implementation progress and escalate systemic issues affecting sustainment performance
Drive standardization and embed continuous improvement behaviors across the KSA Program team
Analyze, improve, and standardize sustainment processes using CORE methodologies and data-driven analytics
Identify inefficiencies, reduce cycle times, increase reliability, and strengthen sustainment performance
Identify workflow bottlenecks and develop corrective and preventive actions
Ensure sustainment documentation, status reporting, metrics packages, and performance analyses are accurate and aligned with Saudi Arabian Representative and Saudi Program Management Office expectations
Analyze spare-part demand, repair cycle variances, inventory health, and warranty behavior
Work with CONUS and OCONUS teams to ensure consistent adoption of process improvements
Identify and address high-priority sustainment needs rapidly
Collaborate with Supply Chain, Mission Integration, Repair & Return, Logistics, Engineering, EXIM, Quality, and other stakeholders
Support sustainment activities for an international customer base and globally distributed team
Undertake limited international travel

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree and minimum 8+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 6+ years of experience
Proven experience driving continuous improvement using CORE Operating Systems, Lean, or similar methodologies
CORE Champion certification obtained in a year
Background in standardizing processes, reducing cycle times, and improving reliability across sustainment operations
Ability to analyze sustainment processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions
Strong data analytics skills for interpreting demand trends, repair cycles, inventory health, and warranty behaviors
Experience preparing sustainment reports, metrics, and performance summaries for leadership and customer stakeholders
Ability to work effectively with CONUS and OCONUS teams
Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional and international partners
Demonstrated management and leadership capabilities
U.S. citizenship is required
Background in defense sustainment, logistics, or readiness support preferred
Knowledge of business, industry, or operating models preferred
Experience applying continuous improvement principles across program management, project management, subcontracts, contracts, engineering, manufacturing, finance, procurement, supply chain, or supplier management preferred
Familiarity with Estimate at Complete (EAC) processes and formulation preferred
Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and RLPM processes preferred
Proven ability to engage effectively with senior leadership preferred
Understanding of risk and opportunity management practices preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills preferred
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision preferred
Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills preferred
