About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review Statements of Work (SOWs)
  • Create Non-Disclosure Agreements and/or Proprietary Information Agreements
  • Obtain proposals/quotations and perform best-value analysis
  • Prepare documentation write-ups
  • Select qualified suppliers and perform due diligence
  • Negotiate supplier pricing, schedules, and terms and conditions
  • Manage post-award activities and delivery assurance
  • Interact significantly with suppliers in collaboration with business and programs
  • Manage suppliers’ critical paths in support of key program milestones
  • Perform strategic planning while supporting daily tactical and detailed activities
  • Participate in supplier development activities as required
  • Engage with Business EXIM, Legal, and senior leaders
  • Source and purchase materials and services, especially medium- to high-complexity computer hardware procurements
  • Manage supplier performance and relationships while optimizing the end-to-end procurement process

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field, and a minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal
  • Experience with purchase order management including documentation
  • Experience with SAP procurement software, including Ariba, PRISM, and APEX
  • Experience with supplier relationship management
  • Experience with analysis and problem solving, including identifying and escalating issues
  • Experience coordinating with commodity leads/managers and external suppliers
  • Experience with government contracts, processes, and procedures preferred
  • Negotiation skills preferred
  • Experience with automation tools preferred
  • Leadership skills preferred
  • Excellent time management skills preferred
  • Financial acumen preferred
  • Ability to adapt to change preferred
  • Collaboration expertise preferred
  • Knowledge of the integrated supply chain, including strategic procurement preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and influential speaking preferred
  • Ability to develop relationships with senior executives, cross-functional teams, customers, and program managers preferred
  • U.S. citizenship required
