About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review Statements of Work
- Create Non-Disclosure Agreements and/or Proprietary Information documents
- Obtain proposals and quotations
- Select qualified suppliers and perform due diligence
- Negotiate supplier price, schedules, and terms and conditions
- Manage post-award activities and delivery assurance
- Interact significantly with suppliers in collaboration with business and program teams
- Coordinate with commodity leads/managers and external suppliers to manage requirements and resolve issues
- Support shared services enterprise procurement across materials and services, from sourcing through payment
Requirements
What you’ll need- A University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field
- 1+ years of experience in purchase order management including documentation
- Experience with the use of SAP procurement software
- 1+ years of experience in supplier relationship management
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to facilitate cross-functional discussions
- Ability to negotiate best price and delivery
- Experience with Government contracts, processes and procedures preferred
- Negotiation skills preferred
- Experience with automation tools preferred
- Leadership skills preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of the integrated supply chain, including strategic procurement preferred
- Ability to effectively interface with senior management preferred
- Ability to develop peer relationships with senior executives, cross-functional teams, customers, and program managers preferred
