About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support quarterly Estimates at Complete (EAC) creation, including costs, risks, and opportunities at program/product-line level
  • Provide cost, schedule, and funding planning, reporting, monitoring, and analysis support to OSC leaders and management
  • Prepare program financial forecasts, monitor actual costs, and explain variances to plans and forecasts
  • Manage cost accumulation methods weekly, monthly, and quarterly
  • Provide cost-reduction project support and leadership based on manufacturing and functional expertise
  • Support cost estimates for new business proposals and assist Estimating and Program Analysts with estimate rationale
  • Support factory and program activities in the business management role and participate in organizational decisions
  • Develop and streamline reports, EAC management, and special projects to drive internal efficiencies
  • Create and maintain the control account structure in a manufacturing-based finance environment
  • Oversee operations and supply chain financials across multiple contracts
  • Work closely with the Business Office, Program Management Office, Control Account Managers, Program Manager, and Program Finance office

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field
  • Experience developing, updating, and statusing financial and performance metrics and analysis-driven reports independently
  • Experience using Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft 365 Office tools, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in production or a similar schedule-driven environment within a profit-driven business
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • EVMS certification preferred
  • Experience with SAP (APEX and/or PRISM), RTN PMX, or similar systems preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills preferred, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, Analysis for Office (AO), and Power Query
  • Operations/GSCM finance or factory/manufacturing finance experience preferred
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial information preferred
  • Ability to discuss Profit and Loss relationships from contracts to cost analysis preferred
