About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive excellence in financial strategy and execution across programs and captures
  • Prepare quarterly Estimates at Complete (EACs) for required programs
  • Guide program startup, baseline development, project build out, and Earned Value implementation
  • Compile, validate, and deliver recurring and non-recurring Earned Value deliverables
  • Develop and present monthly forecasts for financial planning and analysis (FP&A)
  • Support long-range and annual operating plans
  • Analyze financial data and metrics to support business decisions
  • Align information across proposals, earned value management, estimates at complete, resource and investment management, and financial plans and forecasts
  • Develop, use, and disseminate process and tool improvements for the finance team
  • Work closely with Production Program Teams and functional support teams on financial, contractual, execution, and resource decisions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years related work experience; OR an Advanced degree and a minimum of 3 years related work experience
  • Experience using SAP APEX software, MS Analysis for Office, PMX, EDIT+ or similar systems
  • Experience with Estimates At Complete (EAC) and/or Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • Ability to multi-task, problem solve and work on several different program issues concurrently
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management verbally and in written form
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines and develop and apply solutions and process improvement
  • Knowledge of Undefinitized Contract Awards and the process for Definitization
