About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in preparing project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Monitor progress and identify and resolve obstacles to minimize disruption to project schedules
  • Gather data to monitor project cost, schedule, and technical specifications
  • Facilitate operations and ensure established objectives and budgets are achieved
  • Maintain plans and progress reports relating to the business aspects of projects
  • Track progress and ensure established targets are met
  • Manage project assignments with various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectives
  • Work on Hot Section Engineering projects involving diffuser cases, combustors, turbines, augmenters, nozzles, associated fuel systems, and radial auxiliary power units

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment
  • English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Consistent record of collaboration, innovation, and initiative
  • Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability
  • Passion for learning about and pursuing a career in aviation and aerospace
