About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and implement complex data models in SAP BW/4HANA and SAP Datasphere
- Assist with migration from legacy BW systems and integration with cloud data platforms
- Build and optimize HANA native models, SQLScript logic, and calculation views
- Develop high-performance ETL pipelines using SDI, SLT, or BODS
- Partner with analytics teams to deliver semantic models for SAC or other BI tools
- Assist with incident resolution, performance tuning, and root cause analysis for SAP data systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions
- Support DevOps processes including gCTS/CTS+, Git-based workflows, and CI/CD automation
- Contribute to architecture roadmaps, technology evaluations, and long-term strategic planning
- Support SAP BDC interfaces and controlled data exchange across enterprise systems
- Apply data quality, documentation, governance, and audit-ready engineering practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be a U.S. Person
- Must reside in Puerto Rico
- 2+ years of experience in SAP BW/4HANA or SAP BW on HANA
- HANA modeling and SQLScript expertise
- Experience designing complex BW objects (ADSOs, CompositeProviders, ODS Views)
- Hands-on ABAP knowledge for transformations, user exits, and routines
- Strong understanding of data modeling best practices and performance optimization
- SAP to cloud migration experience (BW/4HANA or Datasphere) preferred
- Knowledge of SAC, Power BI, or Tableau preferred
- Exposure to SAP MDG or enterprise master data strategies preferred
- Experience leading large-scale data initiatives or modernization programs preferred
- Security clearance is none/not required
