About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support Banking, Treasury, and automated payment program configuration and interface support
Work with other SAP cross-functional groups to complete production enhancement projects
Support SAP Finance implementations, including configuring SAP Finance modules, conducting system testing, troubleshooting issues, and providing end-user support
Support break/fix tickets and business questions related to SAP, Banking, General Ledger, and Accounts Payable
Support SAP Finance interfaces such as Concur, Hyperion, and tax
Work with ABAP development and interface teams to resolve system functionality issues
Identify and implement system operation improvements
Translate business requirements into SAP configurations and processes
Work with SAP Security/Compliance, Infrastructure, and Project Management groups to manage and document digital technology solutions
Foster relationships with Digital Technology peers and global colleagues
Gain exposure to internal customers and Collins aerospace products

Requirements

What you’ll need

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems or sites
Experience in SAP Finance module configuration
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical customers, peers, and team members
Ability to travel 10% in accordance with Collins/RTX company policy
Experience configuring General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and e-banking automation
Production support experience
Strong knowledge of financial accounting
Analytical abilities and attention to detail
Familiarity with SAP integrated tools and bolt-ons such as Concur, One Source, OCR, and financial consolidation is a plus
