About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage all aspects of the relationship with a specific supplier within a commodity
Direct and manage schedules and purchase orders for the client account or product family
Ensure products are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and are delivered at the right cost
Perform delivery assurance responsibilities
Execute procurement processes, standards, and operational plans
Respond to value stream inquiries regarding order status, changes, or cancellations
Purchase goods, materials, supplies, and services on terms favorable to the organization
Prepare purchase orders under general guidance
Compile price proposals, financial reports, and other data to support reasonable pricing decisions
Monitor contract performance for compliance with contractual obligations
Contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and resolve shortages, missed deliveries, and late deliveries
Develop and maintain vendor relationships
Participate in meetings, teleconferences, training, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Materials Management or Business Administration
2 years of global supply chain experience
Experience with SAP
U.S. citizenship required
Must reside in Puerto Rico
English proficiency (read, write, speak) required for communication with English-only customers, co-workers, or supervisors
Ability to support other duties/functions based on business needs
Availability to travel up to 10% domestically
Attend and actively participate in group meetings, teleconferences, and required training
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives using ACE tools
Support AS9100 efforts
Obtain ACE Associate certification
