About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the international and strategy portfolios for the Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems (CUAS) business
  • Provide leadership, development, and direction to programs, strategic pursuits, and a growing team of finance managers and professionals
  • Lead all finance facets, including Program Controls, Earned Value Management, customer and gate reviews, proposals, EACs, Annual Operating Plan, Long Range Strategic Plan, investments, overhead, and risk and opportunity
  • Prepare EACs, monthly forecasts, Earned Value reporting, and provide financial direction
  • Consolidate financial projection inputs, analyze results, document changes to actuals and forecasts, and review findings with key team members
  • Partner across organizational levels and functions, including enterprise organizations supporting financial-impact integration
  • Support, lead, and discuss presentations to management in a changing environment
  • Present and analyze data to encourage strategic decision-making and long-term growth
  • Interact extensively with senior finance managers, directors, and leadership teams
  • Communicate effectively in writing and verbally within and outside the organization
  • Serve as a trusted business partner and provide business decision support to the CUAS organization

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • Candidate must be US based and willing to support Eastern Time (ET), Central Time (CT) or Arizona Time (MT)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or another related field and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience; OR an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of experience
  • P&L ownership or financial planning experience
  • Direct supervisory experience guiding teams
  • Experience automating data using MS Office products (Excel, Word, and/or PowerPoint)
  • Experience interfacing and conducting business with senior management and/or VP-level personnel
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and communication skills
  • Experience with competitive proposals and knowledge of the DoD Acquisition Process
  • Ability to lead and coordinate personnel toward common finance goals, set priorities, work within deadlines, and multitask
  • Secret security clearance preferred
