About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support a variety of Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile (ESSM) program efforts
  • Support ESSM Engineering Services / Design Agent contracts and multiple contracts requiring security clearance
  • Coordinate, prepare, review, and submit Estimates at Complete (EAC)
  • Manage cost and schedule progress against budgets and forecasts for Bookings, Sales, Profit, and Cash monthly
  • Support annual proposals (Gate 4s) and contract baselines (Gate 5s)
  • Aid in development of the Long Range Plan (LRP)
  • Implement and maintain internal Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
  • Conduct variance analysis, data review, and reporting
  • Interact frequently with program managers, functional leaders, and multiple organizational levels
  • Support strategic decision-making and bottom-line results as a finance business partner

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience interfacing and conducting business with Engineering, Supply Chain, Contracts, Operations, and other functional disciplines
  • Experience in MS Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship required; only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Strong presentation, communication, and professional skills
  • Ability to work independently with some supervision and oversight
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines and develop and apply solutions and process improvements
  • Demonstrated experience with SAP Business Systems including Business Warehouse (BW), or other major ERP software
  • Demonstrated experience developing EACs, budget baselines and forecasts, including variance analyses
  • Advanced Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, graphing, and macros
  • Exceptional analytical ability and attention to detail
  • Experience with SAP Earned Value
  • Experience with Program Management Excellence (PMX) Tool Suite
