About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain logistics supportability analysis
  • Develop provisioning data for parts and conduct spares analysis
  • Apply advanced logistics principles to develop complex program-level concepts and plans
  • Lead a team to implement successful execution of plans
  • Collaborate with Chief Engineers, Program Directors, Program Managers, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customer program leaders
  • Develop Basis of Estimates for proposal efforts
  • Analyze and optimize maintenance and support requirements
  • Manage spare parts provisioning and inventory
  • Conduct lifecycle cost analysis
  • Ensure compliance with standards and regulations
  • Support continuous improvement and customer needs
  • Travel less than 10% domestically

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience with Technical Data Packages such as drawings, parts lists and/or electrical schematics
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
  • Active and existing DoD Secret security clearance required after day 1
  • Experience in understanding a Hardware Generation Breakdown or Bill of Material
  • Experience in the development and maintenance of Logistics Product Data (LPD) in accordance with GEIA-STD-0007 or MIL-STD-1388-2B
  • Experience in performing Spares Analysis and Spares List Development
  • Experience working with relational databases
  • Experience utilizing software tools such as EAGLE, POWERLOG or SLICWave
