About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop business requirements, use cases, process maps, and solution designs to support business needs and improvements
- Collaborate with business, technical, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and clear communication across RTX
- Lead testing efforts, including data mapping, solution validation, and execution of unit, integration, UAT, and pilot testing
- Create and maintain key project documentation, including design specs, configuration documents, and test plans
- Coordinate with DT, Business Units, Corporate teams, System Integrators, PMO, and solution architects to deliver project work smoothly and support implementation readiness
- Support the Corporate Application and Data office by shaping Enterprise Services initiatives, driving business-aligned solution design, and increasing adoption across RTX corporate functions
- Support significant business technology programs involving application development, enhancements, modernization, SaaS implementations and customizations, infrastructure programs, and digitally oriented business process improvements
- Travel up to 25% as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of experience
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience managing complex, large-scale data initiatives and technical projects
- Experience with software development lifecycle, application architecture, and integration patterns
- Experience working in a data-driven organization where data is used as a strategic business asset
- Experience leading teams through digital transformation using Agile development methodologies
