About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Establish Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
Prepare Estimate at Completion (EAC)
Compile monthly variance reporting and analysis
Support Forward Pricing Rate Proposals and Incurred Cost Submissions
Partner with Legal to forecast and manage expenses across Raytheon Cost Accounting Segments
Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting in support of Raytheon budgets
Maintain historical records and analyze trends
Recommend and interpret budgetary policies and procedures
Participate in internal management reviews
Ensure proper financial controls and maintain compliance
Support business needs
Assist with creating Purchase Orders, invoice processing and approvals, and IOTs
Lead analysis, collection, and reporting of Legal and Compliance overhead expenditures
Provide exposure and support to multiple levels of Finance and Legal and Compliance leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need

University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
Experience with SAP
Experience with Analysis for Office
Experience with Microsoft Office suite, with emphasis in Excel
Experience presenting/conveying business acumen to stakeholders without financial backgrounds or expertise
U.S. citizenship is required
Strong financial acumen and analytical critical thinking
Ability to summarize findings and organize analysis for customers
Time management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
Interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills with ability to influence
Familiarity with Disclosure Statements and Cost Accounting Standards
Ability to classify activities by appropriate color of money
Ability to work independently and as an integral team member in a highly dynamic work environment
Written and oral communication skills, with demonstrated experience briefing Management
Detail-oriented and forward-thinking
Understanding of how indirect expense impacts rates
Experience with RPlan and Control Excel
