About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead engineering execution of the AISD Non-Safety Routers program
- Serve as primary engineering leader for RLPM development activities
- Act as primary technical interface to manufacturing teams, program managers, customers, and regulatory agencies
- Ensure engineering accountability for technical requirements, program scope, cost, and schedule commitments
- Oversee adherence to engineering processes throughout the project lifecycle
- Liaise between Value Stream Leaders and engineering Project Engineers and Leads
- Maintain earned value, financial management, and schedules for engineering activities
- Manage risks and opportunities associated with engineering activities
- Conduct Gate Reviews and define and drive technical solutions
- Support customer interactions and alignment with regulatory and manufacturing requirements
- Lead and support additional program activities as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of relevant experience
- Experience with project development in systems, software, or hardware engineering disciplines
- Experience managing projects, including planning and tracking project status, creating and managing schedules, cost plans, and reporting to leadership
- Experience interfacing with manufacturing teams
- Knowledge of RLPM processes and practices preferred
- Aerospace industry experience highly preferred
- Awareness of DO-254, DO-178C, and ARP4754A standards preferred
- Previous experience leading engineering teams preferred
- Ability to work effectively across organizational boundaries preferred
- U.S. Citizen, U.S. Person, or qualifying immigration status; company may offer immigration sponsorship
- No security clearance required
