About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a key member of the program execution team
  • Ensure successful program performance through conforming products and services
  • Review and approve design artifacts and change requests for technical impact and quality
  • Review and approve subcontract statements of work
  • Assess technical risk of non-conformances
  • Support and oversee failure investigations and nonconformance reviews
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners and customers to meet requirements
  • Drive compliance with the Raytheon Quality Management System and continuous improvement
  • Initiate root cause analysis and facilitate corrective actions
  • Implement closed-loop process controls to improve product and process predictability and capability
  • Implement Advanced Product Quality Planning in accordance with AS9145, as applicable
  • Partner with the Program Quality Lead across the full product life cycle, including development, production, integration, testing, and sustainment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and/or Operations
  • Working experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems
  • Demonstrated experience providing quality technical expertise to ensure effective design/development results
  • Experience with programs/contracts/efforts involving remote sites, particularly Site Quality experience including material receipt and inspection, installation, integration test and selloff
  • Active and transferable Secret or higher U.S. government-issued security clearance required
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Experience applying aerospace, commercial, defense, and/or space quality requirements and standards
  • Experience with contractual quality requirements, particularly on U.S. Government contracts
  • Experience reviewing and approving technical data packages/drawings
  • Experience driving performance of major subcontractors, suppliers and/or IOTs
  • Experience with defense systems throughout the product life cycle
  • Experience identifying, analyzing, and documenting problems with requirements, program functionality, and/or software releases
  • Experience serving on CCB, MRB and/or FRB
  • Experience defining and analyzing quality metrics
  • Experience assessing Engineering work products
  • Experience participating in test preparation and execution
  • Experience in risk mitigation and opportunity management
  • Experience utilizing data and quality science tools
  • RTX CORE qualified and proficient
  • Earned Value certified and proficient
  • ASQ Certification and/or Program Management Certification
  • Excellent collaboration, verbal and written communications, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to persuade and influence stakeholders, team members, suppliers, and management
